Medals & Collecting |
Our Web-Sales Service enables you to
sell your medals on the P&D Medallions website. It is simple to use
and you are in control of the prices your medals are sold for.
How does it work?
-
You send your medals to P&D
Medallions with a brief description and the price you want for
each medal. We reserve the right to ask you to modify the price
of a medal it we feel it will optimise the chance of a sale.
-
We will insure your medals whilst
they are with us.
-
We will undertake all the
technical work necessary to put your medals on the website and
provide the necessary images.
-
We will undertake all
correspondence with potential purchasers.
-
In the event of a sale, we will
issue an invoice and, once payment has been received, send the
medal to the purchaser, fully insured.
-
We will advise you of the sale and
send the proceeds of the sale to you.
How much does it cost?
-
The charge for this service is 12%
of the price realised, subject to a minimum charge of £24 for
each medal. The minimum charge is negotiable when large
collections of medals are sold.
-
We will charge you for the cost of
sending the medal to the purchaser fully insured.
-
In the event a medal does not sell
within a reasonable period of time (normally four months) we
will withdraw it from the website and charge you 5% of the price
you asked for the medal.
What medals can I put on the website?
-
Any historical or commemorative
medal in a good collectable condition.
-
Small items which form a coherent
group or collection may be grouped together to form a single
item.
-
We reserve the right to refuse to
put any medal or groups of medals on our web-site if in our
opinion it would be inappropriate to do so.
We would like to hear from you if you
are interested in using the Web-Sale Service. The service is only
available to sellers living in the United Kingdom. We strongly
recommend that you talk to us about this service before sending any
